Simpatico was born from a simple idea: that the pleasures of Italian life—good food, beautiful objects, and a glass of something worth savoring—shouldn’t be reserved for those who can travel there. They should be part of everyday life, wherever you are.

What began as a passion has become a carefully curated collection. We search Italy—often personally—to find wines, foods, cheeses, olive oils, ceramics, and artisan goods that feel authentic, distinctive, and, above all, worth sharing. Many of what you’ll find here are items you might otherwise only encounter in Italy itself.

At the center of it all is Bobbi Parlett, whose love of “all things Italian” runs deep—shaped by family roots reaching back generations and more than 30 journeys throughout Italy. That experience informs everything we do: what we select, what we recommend, and how we welcome people in.
